Gnome -RN +RGBA Allus
We are trying to duplicate this theme in allus, if some one can do it please share a tutorial or the theme.
We have a idea to the next allus theme like this one, but we cant get the full transparency the next theme of allus that we are working will be something like this.
Allus 3.5 Gnome-RN Release

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=SPQWP8KUWINDOWS 7 GODMOD
this is a trick call the godmod
Windows 7 God Mode
Here's how you enable it:
Create a new folder (right-click and click on “New Folder”). Right-click on the folder and click on rename, copy and paste this: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
What comes up is a Control Panel like window with sections for Action Center ("Check security status" and so on), Administrative Tools, and AutoPlay.
Nothing major, frankly, but interesting. Use at your own risk, of course.
AL Media Center 1.0

Taking the same idea of the allux project we just start to create the al media center, thanks to ed we are going to using the allux source and make allux 1.0 media center more stable for allus system so in that way any linux user can get it. and make it work like xmbc or elisa , also this software will be different from allux , we don't know way but allux develper center is changing a lot , making really difficult for allus team to create a good stability between this 2 systems , we hope that allux developer center change this in future versions of allux.

al 1.0 will release a beta on march 25 .Can wait You can get the xbmc.allus user the source is already add so just go to terminal and sudo apt-get install xbmc
linux users
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install xbmc
$ sudo apt-get update

or if you prefer elisa
Packages for GNU/Linux distributions

sudo aptitude purge '~nelisa'Add the following line in System > Administration > Software Sources > Third-Party Software:
- On Hardy Heron (8.04):
- On Karmic Koala (9.10):
Add the PPA's public key to be certain you get the right packages and get rid of the warning messages when running apt-get update. Type in a terminal:
gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv 26C2E075 && \ gpg --export --armor 26C2E075 | sudo apt-key add - && \ sudo apt-get updateThen run (in a terminal):
sudo aptitude install moovida
Foresight
Run in a terminal:
sudo conary update moovida -install-label foresight.rpath.org@fl:2-devel(from http://www.foresightlinux.se/blog/2009/09/19/moovida-media-center)
Mandriva Linux
Packages are available in the /contrib section.
For Mandriva Linux Cooker (the development release)
The packages are in /contrib/release.
For Mandriva Linux 2008
The packages are in /contrib/backports. For instructions on setting up the /contrib/backports repository, see http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Docs/Basic_tasks/Installing_and_removing_software#Advanced_use:_Backports_and_candidate_updates . Once the repository is configured, you can simply install the 'elisa' package. Only required dependencies will be installed; for optional dependencies, please see the Elisa README.txt.

Who to RGBA support on nautilus
Today i bring to linux Newbies a tutorial of how enable a transparency on nautilus this give your window manger a full aereo look on your linux distribution.
Advisory-This its a experimental tutorial so you use at your own risk Compiled nautilus 2.22.3 from source with the patches and I have transparency now. Murrine engine and all patchs are not ready, so again install it AT YOUR OWN RISK. You need a composite manager as Compiz fusion or the new metacity. It does not work on Nvidia graphics cards.
--
If you want this:
First: Install murrine engine svn and install some themes.
Second: Download Nautilus 2.22.3, 2.23.5 or 2.24.1 source. You can download all versions from here:
http://ftp.acc.umu.se/pub/GNOME/sources/nautilus/
Or download with apt-get:
Sudo apt-get source nautilus
Third: Install nautilus dependencies to compile. In debian or Ubuntu you can use:
sudo apt-get build-dep nautilus
fourth:Replace the nautilus-desktop-window.c and nautilus-window.c into the src folder in the nautilus source.
fifth: Remove your nautilus version.
sixth: Compile and install Nautilus.
./configure
make
sudo make install
Seventh: Restart Nautilus.
Thanks CIMI for murrine engine.
Thanks Zniavre for the updates.
at the end you get something like this.
